The 5k Running Program


To become a better runner you need to run. But that does not mean you can’t include some weight training in your programme to help you build strength and stamina.

This programme consists of dedicated running sessions four days a week, with the additional two days training each week assigned to your normal combination of weight training and cardio. On at least one of these two gym days, swap the treadmill for a bike or possibly even a swim to aid active recovery while still keeping your legs moving.
